Crafting is a great way to recycle materials you already have on hand. The library will offer simple crafts that will make new use of leftover materials. At this session, we will use remainders of felt cut using a Cricut, leftover beads, and partial bags of stuffing to make a Diplodocus. Then, add some pencil shavings and it’s a pincushion. Over the course of the class, you will learn a simple beading and overcast stitch. Fun Fact: Many Diplodocus specimens in museums were gifted by Andrew Carnegie. He was also instrumental in building libraries all over the world including the original library here in Abilene!
