At a time of year when so many of us experience feelings of grief, loss and hardship, for the first time the Cathedral is offering a service which gives specific space for hope and healing through prayer, music and reflection.This gentle but powerful service supports those whose grief may resurface or be felt more keenly over the Christmas season.
Similar to reflective Christmas services known as ‘Blue Christmas’ or ‘The Longest Night’ in other parts of the world in their winter, we offer this on a summer’s evening in the week of our longest days.
As the world demands complicated celebrations, we gather to remember and share in Simply Christmas.
