Welcome to STEM, an eerie and dreamlike, our experimental sound weighs heavily on the use of deep drones chanting, operatic ascension with sound that may sometimes feel as though it has sharp edges. At once soothing and challenging, STEM brings the listeners an opportunity to experience sound in a non-linear format.
An improvisational conversation between modular synthesis and the voice. We tell stories of our inner worlds and the natural realms that surround us. Bridging the divide between what's real and what's illusion, STEM will bring you into a dreamstate of experimental soundscapes.
Adrian has a background in experimental synthesis, ambient electronic, and sample based sound design using various electronic instruments. Namely, eurorack. Madalena is an opera trained singer from Madeira Island, Portugal where she hosted open mic and jam nights, that's where she developed her passion for improvisation. We met on one of those jams.
