From the depths of the Hanoi open mic scene, Simple Jack emerged in 2025 as Hanoi’s leading all-original Dharma Punk Quartet. Phil’s eclectic songwriting, Steve’s melodic licks, Drew’s easy bass virtuosity, and Adrian’s transcendent rhythms carry listeners through an intense inner and outer journey.
Atomic Không are a salty, psychedelic surf-punk band. They are from Cao Bằng, Cork, Hódmezővásárhely and Luân Đôn, and they met and made their homes among the DIY venues of Hà Nội . Influences include Cambodian and Viet psych of the 60s and 70s, proto-garage and coffee. There will be songs about Hanoi, altered states of consciousness, and animals doing things that they shouldn’t, and there will be spring reverb on everything.
Qualas are a 5 piece rock band fronted by operatic powerhouse Carla Erasmus. Formed in the Summer of 2024, they will be performing probably their last show at Hideout on the 16th, while launching thier 6 track EP, which will be available to stream from the 16th. This emotional return will feature hard riffs, jazzy solos and mesmerising vocal hooks. Qualas have strong punk pedigree, with songs about life, death and everything in between.
