You will create a one-of-a-kind ring, pendant, cuff or handmade chain using sterling silver and traditional silversmithing techniques. You’ll learn how to use a torch, add texture, and apply embellishments to bring your vision to life.This beginner-friendly class is perfect for a fun outing with friends, family, a creative date night, or anyone looking to try something new.
The class fee covers instruction and the use of all studio tools and equipment during the workshop. Kits and materials will be selected the day of class so you can choose the project and supplies that fit your style and budget.
On the day of the workshop, you’ll select a project kit. There is a minimum kit fee of $35 and that fee will increase depending on the project and materials you choose from. You are welcome to bring your own stone.
There will be multiple project options available, including:
Rings $45-$65
Pendants $35-$50
Cuff bracelets $65-$125
Earrings $55-$125
Chain $65-$100
…depends on your gemstone choice and size of the piece you want to create.
Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early to look through the project options and decide what you’d like to make.
Most projects you will complete in this 3-4 hour class however If you choose a more complex project you may need to join an Open Metals Lab to finish your piece.
***No experience necessary—just bring your creativity! Age limit is 16.
