About this Event

Silver Sapphics is a casual participant led drop-in group created to offer a safe, affirming, and inclusive space for older Lesbian, Bi, Queer women. This includes older Trans and Non-Binary women who are attracted to women. Sapphic is a broad, umbrella term that typically describes women, nonbinary people, and feminine-aligned individuals who experience attraction to other women or femmes. The word is inspired by the ancient Greek poet Sappho, who wrote emotional and romantic poetry about women from the island of Lesbos.

Connect with like-minded individuals within the community in a shared safe space. We hope that the connections you build during these groups can be taken and built upon outside of the group to help enrich your personal community.

Silver Sapphics is a social group, however, we encourage discussions between individuals and as a group to help you connect with peers with similar interests. We understand that everyone may not be comfortable bringing up certain topics, so we want to provide a way for folks to submit their ideas to be brought up in the groups. You can submit your ideas You are not required to share if you do not connect with a certain topic.
