Hi, Matchmaker Karmen here. We've been having such a good time at the Silver Sapphics events, we're keeping it going! What is Speed Dating: Five-minute mini conversations in succession. You'll be able to indicate romantic, platonic, or non-interest via your smartphone. You'll be able to connect and chat with matches beginning the morning after the event.

Why Speed Dating? It's easy to get comfortable in a single conversation for a long time, but there could be matches you're missing! We want to give everyone a chance to meet as many people as possible in a short amount of time.

To participate in speed dating, you must have a completed before Thursday, March 19th at 4pm.

How it started: I've spoken with a number of lesbians and bi women in their fifties, sixties, and seventies who feel like nightlife caters to a younger crowd. And, for most people, it's harder to meet people in bars than it used to be. So, I partnered with Henrietta Hudson to bring you Silver Sapphics, a singles mixer for the 50+ community.

Karmen Paley: Matchmaker and Founder of Karmen Connects, a boutique matchmaking agency serving LGBTQ+ clientele. With six years of experience, Karmen has celebrated many lasting matches across the spectrum of identity. Specializing in the unique dynamics of queer dating, they focus on helping LGBTQ+ individuals navigate dating with intentionality and authenticity.
