About this Event

Hi, Matchmaker Karmen here. We had such a good time at the last Silver Sapphics event, we're doing it again!

If you're a single, sapphic, and open to meeting new people, come to Hen's and bring a friend. We have space in the private back room for mixing and mingling.

I'm coming back with a little trivia, but this time, team edition! We're going to play a few rounds where you're matched with a new partner each round. Let's see if you can win together to be the top pair! This time, we're playing for real prizes!
In order to be matched, make a Karmen Connects profile before Thursday, February 19th at 5pm.

Date & Time:

6-8 pm aka Happy Hour!

How it started: I've spoken with a lot of lesbians and bi women over the age of 50 recently who feel like nightlife caters to a younger crowd. And, for most people, it's not as easy to meet people in bars as it used to be. So, I partnered with Henrietta Hudson to bring you Silver Sapphics, a singles mixer for the 50+ community.

Karmen Paley: Matchmaker and Founder of Karmen Connects, a boutique matchmaking agency serving LGBTQ+ clientele. With five years of experience, Karmen has celebrated many lasting matches across the spectrum of identity. Specializing in the unique dynamics of queer dating, they focus on helping LGBTQ+ individuals navigate dating with intentionality and authenticity.

is a legendary venue built by lesbians and rooted in community, activism, and care. For over 30 years, Hen’s has served as a safe haven in NYC—now reimagined as a spacious, airy lounge designed for connection, comfort, and creativity. Blending the warmth of a living room with the ease of a petite café, the space features mid-century modern design, cozy seating, work nooks, an outdoor enclave, a charcuterie bar, and a refreshed cocktail menu. While proudly the longest-running lesbian bar in the country, Henrietta Hudson embraces and uplifts the entire queer community—past, present, and future.
