This beginner-friendly class is all about taking the stress out of cooking chicken.
In Southern Staples 101, Chef Tee of Tresia’s Catering will walk you through simple, repeatable techniques for seasoning and cooking chicken so it comes out flavorful, juicy, and reliable every time.
This class builds on the same fundamentals taught in Vegetables, But Make Them Delicious, but you do not need to take that class first.
No fancy tools.
No complicated recipes.
Just real food and real confidence.
📘 WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
This class focuses on technique, not memorization. You’ll learn:
• How to properly season chicken (and how much it actually needs)
• When and how to cook chicken so it stays juicy
• How to pair chicken with a simple, flavorful side
• How to time a main and side so dinner comes together smoothly
• How to adjust and fix common mistakes
Perfect for home cooks who want reliable results without stress.
🍽 WHAT WE’LL BE COOKING
Together, we’ll prepare:
• Seasoned chicken thighs (oven-baked or pan-seared)
• Simple skillet green beans (or similar seasonal side)
(Additional techniques may be demonstrated if time allows.)
