Performance of a project by Yiran Zhao and the KlangLab Ensemble. "SILVER is created for various metal objects and instruments, interpreted by six performers in space. The word "silver" has different meanings as a noun, adjective, and verb. It is very inspiring to focus on this one element in its diverse aspects. The whole work is structured in five parts, each part with its own individual character: sometimes with meditative frequencies played by small speaker cones on resonating foils, or silvery timbres from instruments and voices; sometimes with small games using finger and hand gestures, or movements and amplified small metal objects."
