Have you ever wanted to make your own silver jewellery from Sea Glass or Sea Pottery? Join Fiona from Jewellery Moves for a day of making, learning and creativity. At this workshop you will learn how to make and finish your own sterling silver jewellery. You will also learn how to make your own bezel setting and set pieces of sea glass within a ring and/or pendant.
About Jewellery Moves:
Taught by Fiona Dowling, a graduate of the Royal College of Art, Jewellery Moves workshops aim to teach traditional craftsmanship, jewellery skills and techniques in small groups with a relaxed atmosphere.
This workshop is suitable for beginners. Minimum age is 14+, children 16 years and under must be accompanied by a participating adult who has booked a place.
Cost: £75 – includes workshop tuition, use of tools, tea and coffee.
Materials: The cost of the silver is not included in the workshop fees. The approximate cost of these materials is £40/£50 and payable to the tutor on the day (ideally in cash).
You are welcome to bring your own Sea Glass or pottery but please note not all pieces will be suitable to set.
What to bring: A packed lunch, make sure that hair is tied back and bring your glasses if you wear them.
