Learn all the traditional silversmithing and forging techniques you need to create stunning sterling silver bangles!Choose to make either a traditional hammered bangle with a texure that catches the light beautifully, or a pair of lighter bangles with curves and waves created using metal dies - the choice is yours!
14 to 16 year olds are welcome but will need to be accompanied by a paying adult.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are included in the workshop fee.
2pm-5pm Saturday 9th November 2024 at Fairways House, Mount Pleasant Road, Southampton, Hampshire. Full directions will be emailed.
Materials (sterling silver wire) are available for purchase on the day. The exact cost of the materials will be determined by the size and therefore weight of the bangle you make and the price of silver on the day, however material costs for an average classic hammered bangle is approximately £22. A wavy bangle uses approximately half as much silver as that.
