Join talented textiles artist Louise Goult for a day of learning silk shading.Silk shading, sometimes called painting with threads, is a hand embroidery technique that combines threads, blending them together with short and long stitches to create beautiful effects.
In this whole day workshop you will create your own silk shaded artwork of an image of your choice - you can design your own or use one of the templates provided. You will learn
- how to transfer your image to fabric (no drawing skills needed!)
