Discover the elegance of traditional Chinese fine-line painting (gongbi) on silk fans in this immersive two-weekend course. Participants will gain hands-on experience with techniques for painting on silk, work with natural mineral and botanical pigments, and explore the rich cultural exchanges of the Silk Road.
This course is beginner-friendly and welcomes participants of all backgrounds. Instruction will be clear, visual, and step-by-step. Cultural content will be presented in an inclusive, engaging way that highlights connections across diverse cultural traditions.
