In 2024, Dan was diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic cancer. He faced the disease with unmatched determination, undergoing 27 rounds of chemotherapy, pursuing clinical trials, and using his powerful voice to advocate for greater awareness, early detection, and community hope. Having recently lost Dan to this relentless disease, his close friends at Silex Canada and the team at Craig’s Cause Pancreatic Cancer Society are joining forces to drive the change he championed. Pancreatic cancer remains critically underfunded and under recognized.
