About this Event
Calling all bookwarms of Richmond to read silently in the company of friends and strangers at the last Silent Reading Party of 2025!
At a Silent Reading Party, you BYOBook to a set location, get a beverage, find a comfy corner and read your own book for an hour or two in silence, but still in company of others.
Our next event will take place at the cozy Blue Bee Cider tasting room on 4811 Bethlehem Road. Ticket price ($20) includes one beverage of your choice and gratuities, and contributes towards applicable location fees. There is plenty of parking on & off site, but please read the directions here and be mindful of where you should/shouldn't park.
A special feature at this event!
* Mystery Book Exchange - bring a wrapped book of your choice to regift to another reader and you may be delightfully surprised by what you receive! It doesn't matter if your book is hardcover, paperback, new or used, just something you would like to share with another reader. You are welcome to add a note outside or inside with your Insta handle so the recipient can share their feedback after reading it. Let's stick with fiction!
* If you want to join a small group of other readers and Sarah for a dinner afterwards, please send an email to sc.center at gmail by December 1 to be included in the reservation.
Second Chance Tickets
If you bought a ticket before but could not attend at the last minute, we offer a limited number of second chance tickets to attend this event at no extra cost. Please forward your unused ticket from previous two events (October or November) via email to sc.center at gmail and we'll send you directions for a complimentary ticket after confirming against the attendance record. 4 spots are reserved for this purpose at this event.
