Our weekend silent meditation retreats are suitable for those with at least 6 months experience of meditation practice.

Situated just a three minute walk away from the beautiful Bradgate Deer Park, why not take this stunning opportunity and come and enjoy a quiet weekend in rural Leicestershire? T he retreat is being run by Suryacitta, five time author and one of the most experienced meditation teachers in the UK. He is known for his clarity, simplicity and humour.

Please be aware that these days is are in silence. They is for people with at least 6 months experience of meditation. If you don't have 3 months experience but feel ready to attend please contact us.

This two day meditation retreat is a very simple format. There will be short 20/25 minute sitting meditations then 20 minutes of open practice - to stretch your legs, to sit quietly in our beautiful garden, to drink tea or Lunch and snacks will be provided. The days will run like this apart from longer for lunch.

A silent meditation retreat allows us to take time out from our busy lives and to rest, and to focus ourselves on our meditation practice.

Travelling from afar?

For those attending our meditation weekends from afar, we can provide you with details of local accommodation upon booking. These consist of a range of local hotels, Airbnbs and B&Bs which are available to book for two or three nights, all within short distance of the retreat. Our retreats allow you to hear teachings which assist in greater understanding of yourself, life and meditation. Our retreats also allow you to step outside of your often busy life and to slow down and relax. Cancellations for a full refund must be made at least 7 days prior to the start of the retreat. If you cancel after this date, we offer a 50% refund. If you cancel up to 24 hours before or we can transfer you to later weekend retreat or workshop for a 10% admin fee.  No refunds will be given once the retreat or workshop has started.
