Dear friends,You’re warmly invited to a Silent Meditation & Kiirtan Day at our community home, The Heartfield Collective — a full-day immersion in stillness, sacred sound, and collective presence.

Halfmoon Bay, Sunshine Coast
This immersive retreat weaves three extended sessions of kiirtan and silent meditation — 45 minutes of devotional chant followed by 45 minutes of silent sitting, repeated throughout the day. The vibration of kiirtan opens the heart and softens the mind, allowing meditation to naturally deepen into presence. As we sit together in silence, the shared field supports a depth of stillness and connection that can be difficult to access alone.
Stepping away from the busyness of life into sustained silence is a powerful practice — one that builds inner resilience, strengthens self-reliance, and expands our capacity to meet life with steadiness and clarity.
From 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, we will observe silence, except during kiirtan singing.

Mark Benson has dedicated over 30 years to meditation and kiirtan. After spending nine years as a monk immersed in daily spiritual practice, he now brings that depth into everyday life — meeting its challenges with presence and compassion. His calm, grounded energy creates a steady and supportive container for deep inner listening.

8:00–9:00 AM — Arrival & Opening Circle
9:00 AM–12:00 PM — Session 1
12:00–1:00 PM — Ayurvedic Lunch
1:00–4:00 PM — Session 2
4:00–5:00 PM — Ayurvedic Dinner
5:00–8:00 PM — Session 3
8:00–9:00 PM — Closing Ceremony & Integration
Ayurvedic lunch and dinner are lovingly prepared and provided.
Please note: this is an intensive meditation experience, consisting of three 3-hour sessions of kiirtan and meditation. It is open to both experienced practitioners and those new to silent retreat, provided there is a sincere interest in deep practice and self-inquiry.
Sliding Scale: $40–$100
