Always the 2nd Thursday of the month.What is a silent book club? A meeting for all who love to read! No exclusive groups. No assigned books. No pressure to have something smart to say. Everyone is welcome. Talk as much, or as little, as you like. Read what you want at your own pace, whether that’s a textbook, comic book, fiction — whatever!
Meetups will be at 6pm every 2nd Thursday and consist of approximately 30 minutes of socializing followed by one hour of silent reading. Everyone brings their own book. To close, we will have another 30 minutes of socializing (or, if you prefer, you can keep reading)!
This is a free event. We have partnered with Haven Booksellers. We are always open to everyone, regardless of our theme/event for the night, participation in theme/event is not required. We try and reserve our lounge seating for readers. Tables may be limited, but there is bar, lounge, and outdoor seating available.
