About this Event
Join us for a beautiful morning in nature! We will enjoy a gentle walk through nature with certified Forest Bathing Guide @hearts.hips.mind with a 30 minute stop for silent reading time in the woods.
Due to a desire to create a peaceful and enriching experience, this event requires prior registration. This first experience is free!
Forest bathing, or spending time outdoors to enhance wellbeing, includes both physical movement as well as opportunities for relaxation. Please come prepared with anything you need to feel comfortable outdoors:
- Bring blanket and/or yoga mat
- Wear weather appropriate attire
- Bring water/drink
- Your current read!
- Sunscreen, bug spray, etc.
We will meet by the restrooms next to the parking lot and depart at 9 AM following short introduction. We will proceed along the trail following our Guide, Sarah. Approximately halfway through, we will lay down our blankets and pause for 30 minutes of silent reading. Following, we will slowly depart while enjoying our newfound appreciation for nature and mindfulness.
