The Silent Book Club started in 2012 with a couple of friends reading in companionable silence at a neighborhood bar.
The concept is simple yet revolutionary: we meet up at a bar or cafe to read in communal silence.
There are no rules. Register to join us, or simply show up.
A typical Silent Book Club Meeting goes like this:
30 minutes - People arrive, order drinks/food, share what they're reading
1 hour - Quiet reading time
30 minutes - Optional socializing, or just keep reading
