About this Event
What is a Silent Book Club? It is a book club that doesn’t require you to read a specific book by a particular time. You bring what ever it is you want to read, have a glass of your preferred beverage and spend two hours in the company of fellow readers. And perhaps have a casual conversation with someone about what they, and you, are reading.
The first half hour is spent socializing, if one chooses, and ordering a beverage. The venue also has great food! Then, everyone reads quietly for an hour, followed by another half hour of socializing, etc. There are a great number of avid readers in our area. A Silent Book Club offers them an opportunity to spend time with a group of like minded people without an ongoing commitment.
The event is free except for the cost of food and beverage.
