Have you always wanted to learn to dance? Well, this is your year! WHAT: Join us in West Seattle at the Alki Masonic Center every first and third Sunday for an absolutely FREE beginner west coast swing (WCS) partner dance lesson and get into the social dance for FREE too! Instructions:
1. Arrive to Alki Masonic Center (free parking in attached private lot available)
2. Greet Beginners Class check-in volunteer and sign in for the beginner lesson
3. When ready, a volunteer will direct you to go upstairs for the class
4. Learn WCS, a modern & smooth improvisational partner swing dance style that is danced to a variety of music genres like pop, Top 40, R&B, rock n roll, country, blues, and many more
5. Come back downstairs and dance with friendly local dancers (often referred to as Westies)
WHEN:
5:30 pm Free Beginner WCS aka Modern Swing Lesson starts
6:30 pm Lesson ends & FREE Social Dance starts
WHO: Come with just yourself (no partner is required!) or bring a significant other, a friend, or neighbor to start dancing TODAY. You can email [email protected] or PM us on Facebook for questions or concerns!
