Silas Lowe is an Austin, Texas–based Americana and roots singer-songwriter whose work bridges traditional American forms with a contemporary lyrical voice. Grounded in folk, bluegrass, blues, and honky-tonk, his songs reflect a deep engagement with heritage, craft, and lived experience. Active in the Austin music community since the mid-2000s, Lowe has developed a distinctive voice informed by Appalachian and Texas roots music, earning recognition for his evocative storytelling and authentic performances. For this show, Silas will be joined by old friends and local musicians Emily Triplett Lentz (bass) and Andy Lentz (fiddle), who you may know from their bands The New Neighbors and Cantara Loop. These three have a long history of making music together, mostly at honky-tonks in and around Austin.
