About this Event
Join the Education Team for a brisk morning walk and birding around the Fountain side of the park! We will look for the seasonal changes taking place in the grasslands, and keep an eye out for birds and other wildlife. Feel free to bring your binoculars, or borrow a pair from us!
This program is free! All ages are welcome. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
We will meet behind the blue container building in the Fountain Ave parking lot, at the picnic tables. Please see the map below; the meeting location is marked with a highlighted X. Please wear comfortable shoes for gravel trails, and bring plenty of water!
Hikes will be approximately 3 miles, staying mostly on gravel trails. Please reach out if you have questions about accessibility or hike intensity.
