Signature Gathering Adventure

We are looking for volunteers to help The Freight gather signatures for the Berkeley Arts Measure. The goal of the petition is to pass a parcel tax measure in the 2026 local election that would provide annual funding to all Berkeley arts organizations, helping to protect and sustain these orgs that are vital to the culture of Berkeley. If passed, this measure would provide upwards of $200k annually to The Freight...major game changer for us!

We will meet at The Freight for training and then volunteers will head into the community visiting the Gilman District Street Fair, Berkeley Bowl, & Sauls (Shattuck) to collect signatures from Berkeley residents.
