Hardy & Nance Studios is pleased to announce our Call for Entries for the "Signature" art show that will be displayed on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 5-9 pm. This call for entries is open to all artists in Houston and surrounding areas.THEME: Any theme, subject matter, style, and medium* is welcome. Submit art that you consider to be your best work and is indicative of your unique creativity and style. Paintings, drawings, photography, digital art, sculpture, assemblage, pottery, etc.
* No AI-generated images. No bodily fluids. Art with glitter or other loose mediums such as confetti, sand, etc. must be completely sealed so that it does not come off when handled.
SIZE RESTRICTIONS: 2D/wall hanging artwork cannot exceed 40" on any side (including frame if applicable). 3D stand-alone artwork must fit through a standard door and able to be easily lifted/moved by one or two people.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Artists can submit images and information for up to four (4) pieces no later than Sunday, September 1, 2024 at 11:59 pm. This is a curated show, so some pieces may not be chosen.
• All notifications of acceptance will be sent via email on/by September 8, 2024.
ARTWORK ENTRY FEE: The entry fee for this show is $15 cash per accepted piece, due at drop off. There is no fee to submit images for consideration.
•There is NO commission fee involved and therefore artists are required to handle all sales transactions. Be sure to have Square, Paypal, Venmo, or other applications to take credit card sales. If an artist is unable to handle any sales transaction, Hardy & Nance Studios is happy to facilitate the sale on your behalf for a 20% stipend to cover processing & handling fees.
