About this Event
The story of America is not one tale, but many! The music of some of America’s greatest composers (Copland, Still, Grofé, and Williams) will paint a portrait of America’s diverse history. From the mountains of Appalachia, to the African-American experience; from the rowdy cowboys of the Old West to a trip down the mighty Mississippi—just in time for Mardi Gras!—, it’s all part of the American Adventure. (And if adventure has a name, it must be Indiana Jones!) Join us for this wonderful evening of American Stories! This concert will be led by Adam Thomas, Associate Conductor.
