On May 22, SIGNAL welcomes MATHAME_Italian brothers Matteo and Amedeo Giovanelli have become one of the most respected names in melodic techno. Known for their cinematic sound, emotional intensity and futuristic production style, Mathame create music that feels both uplifting and raw, refined yet relentlessly driving.
Their artistic identity was shaped in isolation on the slopes of Mount Etna, where the first ideas behind their unmistakable sound were born. That atmosphere of beauty, distance and tension still defines their music today — from breakthrough releases like “Skywalking” and “Nothing Around Us” to a catalogue that helped shape a generation of melodic techno producers.
With releases on Afterlife and remixes for artists such as RÜFÜS DU SOL, Adriatique, MEDUZA, Monolink, CamelPhat and Moby, Mathame have built a global presence across clubs, festivals and open-air stages.
