About the Artist: Signal Hill
Formed in St. John’s, Newfoundland and now based in Halifax, Signal Hill has been one of Canada’s most beloved acoustic rock bands since 1991. Over decades of touring across the country – and internationally to Cuba, the Dominican Republic, and Moscow – they’ve built a reputation as a must-see live act and true ambassadors of east coast music culture.
Their show is a high-energy blend of traditional Newfoundland, Irish, and Cape Breton favourites mixed with classic pop and rock anthems, all delivered through acoustic guitars, piano, bass, drums, and powerful four-part vocal harmonies. Fast, fun, and packed with audience participation, a Signal Hill concert feels like a kitchen party on the biggest stage possible.
