Join us for a fun-filled afternoon as we prepare for the Iowa City High Homecoming parade! Grant Wood Elementary is hosting a Sign Making and Truck Decorating Party, and everyone is invited—students, staff, families, friends, and alumni!When: Sunday, September 29
Where: Grant Wood Elementary School
Time: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
We’ll provide poster board, markers, and plenty of creative supplies to help you make a sign to carry in the parade. Feel free to bring any additional supplies you’d like to use! Together, we’ll also decorate our parade truck with balloons, colorful signs, and other festive touches to showcase our Grant Wood spirit.
This is a fantastic opportunity to show our school pride and engage with our community. Those who create signs and decorations are welcome to walk in the parade with us on Monday, September 30.
