About this Event
Experience , an exhibition showcasing the historical, cultural, and creative connections of Asian Americans to Washington, D.C. And join us every second Saturday of the month for Sightlines Saturdays!
This month's feature program--a screening of the beloved animated classic Kung Fu Panda--pays homage to the martial arts stories featured in the Sightlines exhibition and celebrates the return of the pandas to the National Zoo. Follow the adventures of Po Ping, a clumsy but enthusiastic panda, who dreams of becoming a kung fu master and is improbably selected to fulfil an ancient prophecy.
Presented by the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center, the Sightlines exhibition is on view on the first floor of the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
Notice of Filming and Photography: Sightlines Saturday programs will be photographed, filmed, and recorded.
