About this Event
Here we are again.
Five years in, and stronger than ever.
From our most humble beginnings;
we never could have imagined that SIF would grow into the community that it has.
From a simple joke:
Spoken one night between a few friends, to a pair of novelty t-shirts,
to a basement party in a wintery, rented cottage with a broken window.
We began this journey with no plan, no equipment, and no DJs. Just a lot love, and a simple goal: create a space for our friends and family to be themselves and be together.
Everything that has happened since then: becoming performers ourselves, providing a platform to others to learn and grow, throwing parties, playing clubs, doing our very own two-day festival.
None of it would have been possible without you.
You are, and have always been, what truly makes this community special.
We sincerely thank you for making this journey with us, and hope you can celebrate OUR anniversary.

SIF staff will be wandering the party wearing purple t-shirts, so if you have any concerns, need help with resolving a situation, or just have ideas about how to improve the night, come find us! We have a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harrasment of any kind.
