SIERRA LEONE ELECTIONS PANEL DISCUSSION
22nd JUNE 2023, SOAS
The Sierra Leone elections will be happening on 24 June. The last election was in 2018. SLPP has held five years in office, with Julius Maada Bio leading the government. This election will determine if SLPP are to continue leading the country, or if opposition APC will take power. They and the country will have to confront big questions: how to fix a struggling economy, how to solve youth unemployment, corruption, and more.
