Siempre Flamenco's Festival de Cante Flamenco is thrilled to invite audiences to a captivating experience at the 19th edition of this highly anticipated event! This mesmerizing and passionate production focuses on the art of flamenco singing, aka cante flamenco. The soulful, gripping sounds of cante flamenco, rooted in Spain's medieval music and influenced by Moorish, Gypsy and Jewish traditions, take you on an unforgettable journey. Many styles of cante flamenco are rarely heard outside the home, with the exception of summer cante festivals in Andalusia.
Festival de Cante Flamenco is the only one of its kind presented in the United States. Prepare to be dazzled by renowned Spanish artists such as Amparo Heredia, Morenito de Illora and Gabriel de la Tomasa. Don’t miss the spectacular guitar skills of Jose Cortes Pansequito and breathtaking flamenco performances by the incredible Raquel Heredia.
