About this Event
Sideways: The Documentary - Airdrie Mental Health Fundraiser
Join us in person for Sideways: The Documentary, a powerful documentary on the 1986 Swift Current Broncos bus crash. It is not just about the tragedy of the crash, it is about what happens after in the silence, the mental health fallout, and the long road to healing. Told from the POV of NHL Alumni Bob Wilkie, one of the most impacted survivors, it looks at his journey of resilience, leading him to work in the mental health space for the last 18 years, helping thousands of others with struggles. Featuring Kelly Hrudey, Hayley Wickenheiser, and Ken Holland, the response to this film has been overwhelming and it marks the beginning of a national mental health movement powered by athletes, community and collaboration. It's all about raising awareness and support for Airdrie Mental Health. Come hang out, watch an inspiring story, and help make a difference in our community. Bring your friends, share some smiles, and be part of something meaningful. See you there!
