Siderean, an eclectic force in the realms of avant-garde metal, emerged from Slovenia weaving a tapestry of sound that blends the raw energy of death metal with the intricate rhythms and harmonies of contemporary improvised and electronic musical styles. Their journey began in 2020, when their demo release Sidereal Evolution quickly garnered a following among those seeking something beyond the ordinary. With its first full album release, 2021’s Lost on Void’s Horizon, Siderean has pushed further into the cosmic unknown, crafting a sonic experience that is both energizing and emotionally evocative. In their September 2024 tour with Carcinoma (UK), they presented the highly anticipated sophomore album. Spilling the Astral Chalice was released on September 13 , 2024, and it has been acclaimed as one of the best efforts in the genre for the last year... Musically, Siderean stands out for their elaborate compositions and masterful instrumentation. Their soundscapes are a celestial dance of heavy riffs, complex time signatures, and atmospheric interludes. The band’s visual style complements their music perfectly, often incorporating celestial imagery and abstract art that evoke the vastness of the cosmos. On stage, they are a force to be reckoned with, their performances a vessel for audiences towards otherworldly realms.

Formed in 2019 with members scattered from Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands, Defacement has made waves with their debut album “Deviant” and their sophomore self-titled release, delving into themes of violence and existential despair through a mix of relentless dissonance and melancholic musical elements.
Their latest album “Duality” out on July 26, 2024, via Avantgarde Music’s Unorthodox Emanations and in collaboration with Total Dissonance Worship for the North American vinyl version, continues this exploration with an atmospheric and intense sound.
