Could you…Open your garden for a day - to friends or the wider community - to celebrate the summer and support the local hospice service?
We are inviting the community to open their garden gates, catch up with old friends and may be make some new ones, whilst sharing some ‘green-fingered’ joy and raising vital awareness - and perhaps, some funds - for us, as the local hospice service for Sidmouth and the Sid Valley.
You can choose between inviting the community in true 'open garden' style, or hosting a smaller garden party just for friends. However you host, we are here to help.
Once again, the wonderful team at King's Garden Centre Sidmouth are supporting our event, and are on hand to offer tips, tricks and supplies to make the most of your garden.
Would you…
Like to take part? We’re looking for Sid Valley gardens of all shapes and sizes, from the grand and glorious, to the petit and pretty, cottage and kitchen gardens included!
You simply need to offer an open space on your chosen date this summer – any time from May-August 2026 - when you can enjoy the appreciation of your visitors and may be offer a cuppa and a slice of something nice in return.
If you’d like to take part, please don’t hesitate. Contact our Community Team on 01395 578707 or email Sharon Coombes, Head of Community Engagement via [email protected]
Once registered, we will send out our information pack, which will include a variety of hints, tips and guidance to make your event great.
