Come and get creative with us! Our Sibling Art Day are for siblings to have fun and connect with other kids who just ‘get it.’Join Parent to Parent as we offer the opportunity for children and youth with a disabled, neurodivergent or health impaired brother or sister to have a day where the focus and attention is just on them.
These ‘cool kids’ will have a fun and exciting afternoon of mindful artwork and jewelry-making with artist, Alex De Long. Together, we will create mixed media posters to display in our favourite room to remind us of just how cool we are! We will also be creating a piece of jewelry for our sibling, mum or special person.
As well as getting creative through art & craft, these siblings will get the chance to sit down together and talk about what it’s like having a disabled sibling, in a safe environment with others who know just where they are coming from. Afternoon tea will be provided.
This event is free, thanks to funding from TCC Creative Communities NZ
