TURAN ALI
Turan Ali is an award-winning gay stand-up comedian and stage storyteller from the United Kingdom. He grew up in London with Austrian and Turkish parents. He tours internationally with his comedy shows and has two sell out monthly storytelling shows in Vienna and Edinburgh. Every August he can be found performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He won the Creative Edinburgh Leadership Award 2024. Turan is also a producer, director and writer of BBC dramas and comedies in the UK and has directed some of the biggest names in comedy. His provocatively queer brand of comedy exposes the ridiculousness of gay and straight lives mixing stand up, stories, performance poetry and outrageous ukulele songs. Prepare to laugh your arse off.
