Meet the author of The Shroud of Jesus: And the Sign John Ingeniously Concealed!
Shroud of Turin researcher, Dr. Gilbert Lavoie, will be present at the Saint John Paul II National Shrine on March 14 and 15 to meet pilgrims and share the research found in his book, The Shroud of Jesus: And the Sign John Ingeniously Concealed.
Dr. Lavoie’s research is profiled in the Shrine’s current Lenten exhibit “Lord You Could Not Love Me More! Saint John Paul II and the Shroud of Turin.” The exhibit includes a replica of the Shroud of Turin on loan from the National Shroud of Turin Exhibit; a sculpture entitled The Sign; over 40 gallery panels containing images and text; and prayer resources.

10:30am-4:00pm: Dr. Lavoie in residence to meet pilgrims
1:00-3:00pm: Lecture “The Upright Man of the Shroud” by Dr. Gilbert Lavoie followed by reception
SUNDAY, MARCH 15
10:30am-4:00pm: Dr. Lavoie in residence to meet pilgrims.
