Set in Raag Maru Bihag, this bandish evokes the Viraha in love through Virahotkanthita - a Nayika, a lady, a heroine, restless in separation, yearning for her beloved whom she suspects has lingered with the other woman far too long!!
Through a curated selection of Khayal-Bandish(es), the artist brings alive the timeless world of the Ashtanayika - the eight heroines of love and separation across Indian Arts and aesthetics. Each composition unveils a different shade of desire, anticipation, and, longingness, anger.... weaving together music, poetry, and expression into an intimate, immersive experience under a moonlit night sky, overlooking the iconic Lotus Temple!
