Its a new year, and Shrewsbury Pagan Grove shall be meeting again in January on Thursday 15th, 7pm, at Floro Lounge on Pride Hill. Our discussion topic for this meet up is a fun one, but also one with many possible interpretations and personal meanings; DRAGONS! Dragons are one of those mythological creatures that seem to appear recurrently in cultures from all across the world, and play a very important role in many pagan cosmologies and creation myths. From cosmic, world-tree gnawing wyrms, to the nemeses of knights and Saints, hybrid beasts of medieval folklore, guardians of treasure hoardes, to psychological symbols and archetypes, there is a dragon for everyone!
The Pagan Grove is a relaxed group to meet, share and discuss beliefs, ideas and experiences, with like-minded or infinitely diverse souls. You don’t need to have any prior knowledge of paganism, or even to call yourself a pagan, to be welcomed here.
