Join KW Signature for Shredding Hunger, a free community event that brings together secure document shredding and meaningful giving.
We’re offering free onsite paper shredding in exchange for nonperishable food or cash donations, which will directly benefit Katy Christian Ministries and help feed families in need.
This is a perfect opportunity to safely dispose of sensitive documents while making a real difference in our community.

Is the event free?
Yes! The shredding and e-waste recycling services are free with a donation of nonperishable food or cash.
Who can attend?
Everyone is welcome—residents, clients, agents, and members of the public.
What kind of documents can I bring?
You can bring any personal or business documents you want shredded: old tax forms, bank statements, legal paperwork, etc.
Is there a limit to how much I can bring?
Please be mindful and bring only what you or your household reasonably needs shredded—typically 2–3 boxes per person is a good guideline.
What electronics can I bring?
We accept computers, laptops, monitors, printers, scanners, cell phones, tablets, keyboards, mice, cables, cords, gaming consoles, fax machines, hard drives, power supplies, and small electronics. No appliances or TVs.
Do I need to register to attend?
Registration is not required but is appreciated so we can plan for volume. You may RSVP through this Eventbrite page.
What food items are needed?
Nonperishable items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, peanut butter, cereal, boxed meals, and more.
What if I don't have food to donate?
Cash donations are also welcome and will go directly to Katy Christian Ministries.
