Shred Day provides the entire community the opportunity to safely and securely dispose of documents - free of charge.On Friday April 3, 2026, from 1:00 - 4:00 PM, Union Square will team up with the Paper Pig for our annual Shred Day at our Downtown Branch.
As more people become victims of identity theft each year, taking the necessary steps to protect sensitive information is crucial. We recognize that one effective way to prevent identity theft is to shred documents that contain personal information such as social security numbers, bank account information, and credit card information.
Union Square takes great responsibility in helping our members defend themselves from fraud and scams; our annual Shred Day event is simply one more way we work to protect our community.
