Drive-Through Shred-A-Thon & Rx Take Back EventSpring cleaning just got easier! Stop by our convenient drive-through event to:
- Shred sensitive documents
- Safely dispose of unused or expired medications
- Donate canned goods to support local families
The event is free, quick, and easy, and no need to leave your car!
REMINDERS:
- Stay in Your Vehicle: This is a drive-through event.
- Prepare Your Items: Before arriving, place all documents and prescription drugs in your trunk, hatchback, or truck bed.
- Limit: Up to 5 file boxes or bags of paper per vehicle.
- No commercial or bulk business drop-offs allowed.
**Shredding Guidelines**
- Remove Metal Items: Remove paper clips and other metal items (staples are okay).
Not Accepted:
- Plastic items such as bags, packing materials, credit cards, notebooks, DVDs, X-rays
- Previously shredded documents
***RX Take Back Guidelines***
Accepted Items:
- Prescription and over-the-counter medications (pills or liquids).
- Solid doses (capsules, tablets) can be left in the original container or placed in a separate bag.
- If using the original container, remove or black out personal information on the label.
NOT Accepted:
- Intravenous solutions, injectables, needles, inhalers, syringes
- Chemotherapy medications
- Vaping devices with non-removable batteries
- Medical waste
