SHPE Engineering Company Tour

Join SHPE-NYC at an Engineering Company Tour for High School Students hosted by Steinway & Sons

The Engineering company tour is an opportunity for High School students to meet Engineers and experience a real-world engineering facility. Students will have an opportunity to learn about the Engineering Design process and challenges in a real-world environment. A special thank you to our host for the event, Steinway & Sons.

Date: Thursday, April 13, 2023

Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm

The Tour will include:

• Engineering design 101: Learn about the Engineering Design process and 3-D printing
• Special Piano Design: Learn about production/design challenges related to pianos
• Spirio record: Learn about Spirio pianos by playing a few tunes and seeing the piano play back the same tunes on its own.
