The School of Ballet Theatre UK proudly presents a thrilling evening of dance performed by students of the BA (Hons) Ballet Performance Programme, delivered in partnership with the University of West London.The evening features two exciting new commissions, including original works by YAGP award-winning American choreographer Krista King-Doherty and international choreographer Francesco Mangiapane, offering fresh, dynamic perspectives on classical technique.
Audiences will enjoy excerpts from Marius Petipa’s beloved classical masterpieces The Awakening of Flora and Paquita. Contemporary works by Hannah Connor bring depth and modern expression to the programme, alongside a technically driven jazz piece by Morgana Byworth, adding energy and contrast to the evening.
The performance concludes with Soirée de Paris, a whimsical character ballet choreographed by Artistic Director Christopher Moore. Inspired by the elegance and exuberance of the Belle Époque, this joyful finale features the world-famous Cancan, set to the irresistible music of Jacques Offenbach.
