Show n Tell

Ever ask yourself “How did they do that?” when looking at a sculpture?

Do you have a tried and tested process you’d like to share with other sculptors?

Are you keen to experiment with techniques and wonder if others are too?

All these plus more can be answered and more is possible at the inaugural “Show n Tell” organised by the SQ HOA-OA subcommittee. The more sculptors participating in this event, the better it will be. There is no expectation of experience, in fact, novice sculptors are as welcome as more experienced sculptors. It is never too late to learn, and you never know what you don’t know. Please make the most of your SQ membership and meet, connect with and learn from each other.

If you’ve never been to The Shed, this is your chance. Parking available behind the Old Museum.

This could be a regular event if SQ members are interested.

Bring along 1, 2 or 3 sculptural pieces you are working on or have completed. Describe them, with images if you have them, of the process you used to achieve your piece/s from concept to work in progress or complete. Share your knowledge & experience and hear how others’ approach their creative process.
