Calling all dog lovers and wildlife conservationists Hi everyone—my name is Grace, and I’m a small animal veterinarian in Denver. I’m part of a team that travels to Nepal through the Katie Adamson Conservation Fund to support both local dog communities and wildlife conservation efforts.
One of the biggest issues we’re working to address is the close interaction between street dogs and local wildlife. This can allow diseases like distemper to spread to leopards, which can be devastating for their populations. By vaccinating and spay/neutering these dogs, we can help protect both them and the wildlife that depends on a healthy ecosystem.
If you’re looking for something meaningful (and fun!) to do on May 23rd, come join us for Shots for Spots — a fundraiser supporting this mission.
